Performance Upgrade Chip – Non-Varioram Cars
Unlock the true performance of your 1994-1995 Porsche 993
Non-Varioram with the OE Match Performance Upgrade Chip. Developed
specifically for manual and Tiptronic (non-Driveblock) models, this
precision calibration transforms the drivability of the legendary 3.6-litre
flat-six, delivering stronger low and mid-range torque, sharper throttle
response and improved acceleration throughout the rev range.
Fits:
- Porsche 993 (911) C2 1994-95
- Porsche 993 (911) C4 1994-95
Compatible with Bosch Motronic DME 0.261.203.675 and
the following Porsche DME part numbers:
- 99361812403
- 99361812404
- 99361812405
- 99361812406
Transform the Way Your 993 Drives
The factory Bosch Motronic calibration leaves noticeable performance untapped. OE Match software has been extensively developed to eliminate the familiar flat spot below 4,000 rpm, allowing the engine to pull harder from low RPM while significantly improving throttle response and everyday drivability.
Benefits include:
- Stronger low and mid-range torque
- Sharper throttle response
- Eliminates the factory sub-4,000 rpm hesitation
- Improved acceleration throughout the rev range
- Dyno-proven horsepower gains
- Smoother, more responsive driving experience
Every calibration is designed for 91 AKI (95 RON) premium fuel as standard. If you regularly use 93 AKI (98 RON) fuel, an optimised 98 RON calibration can be supplied—simply select your preferred fuel grade when ordering.
Includes the Latest Lightweight Flywheel (LWF) Fix
If your 993 has been fitted with an RS lightweight flywheel, this software includes the latest LWF Fix to eliminate the stalling and RPM dip often associated with lightweight flywheel conversions.
The updated programming:
Eliminates stalling during deceleration and gear changes Prevents RPM dropping below idle Improves clutch engagement Reduces unnecessary clutch slip Enhances throttle response
The software is equally suitable for vehicles retaining the factory flywheel, and existing customers can update older OE Match chips to the latest LWF coding.
Optional Immobiliser / Driveblock Delete
This chip can also be supplied with the Immobiliser / Driveblock function disabled for vehicles originally equipped with the Porsche Driveblock system.
Disabling the Driveblock removes the need to deactivate the immobiliser with the key fob every time the vehicle is started, returning the car to the operating style of factory non-Driveblock models.
To complete the conversion, jumper relay 964.610.184.00 must be installed in relay position R61, exactly as fitted by Porsche on non-Driveblock vehicles.
Ordering Information
Porsche fitted six different Bosch Motronic DMEs to 1994-1995 Non-Varioram 993 models.
Before ordering, remove the DME unit from beneath the left-hand front seat and confirm the Bosch or Porsche part number printed on the Motronic label to ensure the correct chip is supplied.
Why Choose OE Match?
Unlike generic replacement chips, every OE Match calibration has been extensively refined through dyno development and real-world testing to provide maximum performance while maintaining factory reliability.
The software is engineered not to trigger the Check Engine Light
