Manufactured from high-strength corrosion-resistant steel, the clamp is engineered to withstand extreme exhaust temperatures, road salt, moisture and constant vibration. Precision-formed to suit 65 x 95mm exhaust connections, it provides uniform clamping pressure for a reliable, long-lasting seal while allowing direct OE-style installation during exhaust repairs, muffler replacement or restoration work.
What This Product Does:
- Secures the exhaust muffler to the adjoining exhaust pipe.
- Maintains correct alignment of the exhaust system.
- Helps create a leak-free exhaust connection.
- Reduces movement caused by vibration and engine operation.
- Supports the weight of the exhaust assembly.
- Helps minimise exhaust rattles and noise.
- Restores factory exhaust mounting performance.
- Forms an essential part of the vehicle's exhaust system.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Exhaust gas leaks around the clamp.
- Rattling or knocking noises from the exhaust system.
- Loose or misaligned exhaust components.
- Corroded or rusted clamp.
- Broken or stretched clamp hardware.
- Increased exhaust noise.
- Visible movement of the muffler or exhaust pipe.
- Difficulty maintaining a secure exhaust connection.
- Vibration transmitted through the vehicle.
- MOT or vehicle inspection failure due to an insecure or leaking exhaust system.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The exhaust muffler clamp is continuously exposed to extreme heat, moisture, road salt, dirt and vibration. Over time, corrosion and repeated thermal expansion and contraction can weaken the clamp, reducing its ability to securely hold the exhaust components together.
- A worn or damaged clamp can allow exhaust sections to move, creating leaks, excessive noise and unwanted vibration. If left unresolved, loose exhaust components can place additional strain on surrounding brackets and mountings, potentially leading to more extensive exhaust system damage.
- Replacing a worn or corroded clamp restores a secure, leak-free exhaust connection and ensures the exhaust system remains correctly aligned. The OE Match Exhaust Muffler Clamp, 65 x 95mm is manufactured to OE standards using premium-quality corrosion-resistant steel, providing factory-style fitment, exceptional durability and dependable long-term performance, helping maintain the reliability, safety and refinement expected from your Porsche.
