- Because the timing chain system is under constant stress (heat, RPM, vibration), the feed line must maintain integrity, correct diameter, correct routing, correct fittings and leak-free operation to protect the chain drive system.
Symptoms & Signs It May Need Replacement:
- Oil leakage around the chain-cover region, especially on the driver’s side near the timing chain housing or tensioner.
