What This Product Does
This O-ring forms a seal at its specified air-conditioning connection, helping contain refrigerant within the circuit. It is a sealing component, not a condenser or receiver-drier assembly.
Technical Details
- Brand: OE Match.
- Part reference: 99970755741.
- Supplied size designation: 11.00 x 2.50 NX.
- Diagram descriptions also identify the dimensions as 11 x 2.5.
- Recorded installation quantities: three in the applicable 991.1 and 991 Turbo diagrams; four in the second-generation 991 Turbo / GT2 RS underbody diagram. These are assembly requirements, not pack contents.
Symptoms of Fault
Declining cooling effectiveness or traces of oil or leak-detection dye around a connection can indicate refrigerant leakage. Similar symptoms can originate elsewhere, so identify the leaking joint before choosing replacement parts.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing a defective connection seal addresses a potential escape path for refrigerant. Check the adjoining pipework and sealing surfaces as part of the repair; changing an O-ring will not correct damage elsewhere in the circuit.
FAQs
Does weak cooling always mean this seal has failed?
No. Condenser damage, other leaking connections and unrelated air-conditioning faults can produce similar symptoms.
Is this supplied as a set?
No. Each O-ring is supplied individually; confirm the number needed for the connections being repaired.
Who should carry out the work?
Use an appropriately qualified air-conditioning technician for work involving refrigerant.
