Produced from high-strength, corrosion-resistant materials, the components are engineered to withstand vibration, mechanical loads and harsh environmental conditions. Whether used during repairs, maintenance or restoration work, the mounting kit helps ensure professional-quality installation while replacing worn, damaged or corroded original hardware.
What This Product Does:
- Provides the essential hardware required for component installation.
- Secures replacement parts safely and correctly.
- Maintains proper alignment of installed components.
- Replaces worn, corroded or damaged original fixings.
- Helps reduce vibration and component movement.
- Supports reliable long-term installation.
- Simplifies repair and maintenance work.
- Forms an essential part of a professional component replacement.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Loose or misaligned components.
- Excessive vibration or rattling.
- Corroded, seized or broken fasteners.
- Missing mounting hardware.
- Difficulty tightening or securing components.
- Damaged or stripped threads.
- Premature wear caused by component movement.
- Increased noise from loosely mounted parts.
- Visible corrosion or deterioration of fixings.
- Reduced reliability of installed components.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Mounting hardware is continually exposed to vibration, moisture, road salt, heat and mechanical stress. Over time, fasteners can corrode, stretch, seize or lose their clamping force, reducing their ability to secure components correctly.
- Reusing old or damaged hardware can lead to poor fitment, unwanted movement, increased vibration and premature wear of replacement parts. In some cases, weakened fixings may fail completely, affecting the reliability and safety of the installed component.
- Replacing the mounting hardware whenever major components are serviced or replaced helps ensure secure installation and long-term durability. The OE Match Mounting Kit provides factory-style fitment, corrosion-resistant construction and dependable performance, making it the ideal choice for high-quality Porsche repairs, restorations and preventative maintenance.
