Information
Blower motor regulator
This OE Match blower motor regulator is a replacement HVAC control component used in Porsche 970 Panamera and 918 Spyder models. It controls the speed and operation of the interior heater and air conditioning blower motor, helping deliver the correct airflow through the cabin vents.
Fits:
Porsche 970 Panamera 2012 - 2016
Porsche 918 Spyder 2015
Previous part numbers:

Diagram ref no 7
The blower motor regulator manages electrical power to the blower motor, allowing the climate control system to adjust fan speed as required. It helps provide consistent cabin ventilation, heating, demisting, and air conditioning performance.
Functions
• Controls blower motor fan speed
• Regulates electrical power supplied to the HVAC blower motor
• Supports heating, ventilation, and air conditioning operation
• Helps maintain consistent airflow through the cabin vents
• Allows correct response from the climate control fan settings
• Helps restore fan operation when speed control fails
• OE Match replacement for the original blower regulator module
Why Replace This Part?
A faulty blower motor regulator can cause the cabin fan to stop working, operate only on certain speeds, run constantly, or behave intermittently. It may also cause weak airflow, no airflow, or incorrect fan response from the climate control panel. Replacing the regulator helps restore proper blower motor control and reliable cabin comfort.
When to replace
• The heater or air conditioning fan does not work
• The blower motor only works on one speed
• Fan speed cannot be adjusted correctly
• The blower runs intermittently or stops unexpectedly
• The cabin fan runs continuously even when not requested
• Airflow from the vents is weak or inconsistent
• HVAC diagnostic faults point to the blower regulator or final stage unit
• The blower motor has been tested and the regulator is confirmed faulty
Where it fits on the car
This regulator fits within the HVAC blower motor system, typically mounted near or on the blower motor housing. It is part of the cabin heating and air conditioning system and controls the electrical supply to the blower motor.
