What Does LIQUI MOLY A/C System Cleaner Do?
The cleaner removes mould and bacteria that accumulate on air conditioning evaporators and inside ventilation ducts. It helps eliminate musty smells at their source, leaving the system cleaner and the cabin air fresher.
Why Do Air Conditioning Systems Become Contaminated?
Moisture produced during air conditioning operation can collect around the evaporator, creating conditions where bacteria and mould develop.
Over time, this contamination can cause unpleasant smells when the air conditioning or ventilation system is switched on.
When Should It Be Used?

Instructions
- Open a vehicle window and ensure the air conditioning condensate drains are clear.
- Switch off the air conditioning, select recirculation and footwell airflow, then run the engine with temperature and blower settings at maximum for 10 minutes to dry the evaporator.
- Insert the supplied spray probe towards the evaporator following vehicle-specific access instructions.
- Spray the cleaner across the evaporator surface, moving the probe carefully to distribute the product.
- Allow the cleaner to work for 15–20 minutes.
- Dry the evaporator for a further 10 minutes using the same heating and ventilation settings.
- Replace the cabin dust and pollen filter.
Important: Follow Porsche-specific service
instructions where available. Keep a window open, avoid inhaling cleaning
vapours and read the product's biocide safety information before use. The
manufacturer recommends one 250ml container per vehicle.
