The headlight provides the vehicle's primary forward illumination while integrating with the vehicle's electronic lighting and driver-assistance systems. LED technology provides rapid illumination, efficient operation and precise light distribution, while PDLS+ functionality can provide additional lighting control according to the vehicle's specification and operating conditions.
A damaged, moisture-contaminated or electronically defective headlight can reduce visibility, generate warning messages and prevent some lighting functions from operating correctly. Replacement restores the physical lighting assembly and provides the basis for correct operation once the unit has been properly installed, configured and adjusted.
What This Product Does:
The LED Headlight PDLS+ forms part of the vehicle's primary exterior lighting system.
Its core functions include providing forward road illumination and helping the driver identify:
- Road markings
- Junctions
- Curves
- Pedestrians
- Cyclists
- Other vehicles
- Roadside objects
- Potential hazards in low-light conditions
Depending on vehicle specification and system configuration, the PDLS+ lighting system may also integrate additional electronically controlled lighting functions designed to optimise light distribution under different driving conditions.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
