This front inner wheel bearing is the one we prefer for Late 356A and Early 356B cars. Years 1959-1963. Although technically classified as a 30mm bearing, this version has an I.D. that is a tenth of an mm larger than other brands. The result is a quick and easy installation!

This Inner Wheel Bearing is a direct-fit replacement for the front inner hub bearing (30206) used on Porsche 356 A and 356 B. Engineered to OE dimensions and load ratings, it restores smooth, true hub rotation, proper preload, and long bearing life. Precisely ground races and hardened rollers reduce friction and heat under sustained road use, helping protect hubs, seals, and brake components.
• Position: Front hub, inner bearing (cone & cup 30 206)
• Function: Supports radial/axial loads, maintains wheel alignment and smooth rotation
Why replacement matters:
Aged bearings can pit or develop play, causing wheel wobble, noise, heat build-up, and uneven braking. Replacing the inner bearing (and seal) during front hub service restores correct preload, quieter running, and safer, precise steering feel.
