LIQUI MOLY Pro-Line Turbocharger Additive – 20g
LIQUI MOLY Pro-Line Turbocharger Additive is a specialist lubricant designed to protect new turbochargers during installation and initial start-up.
Applied before the turbocharger oil supply line is connected, it helps prevent dry running and damage caused by insufficient lubrication during the initial running-in phase.
Vehicle Compatibility
- Porsche turbocharged petrol and diesel engines
- Other turbocharged vehicles
Suitable for all turbochargers and compatible with commercially available engine oils. Always follow the turbocharger manufacturer's installation instructions.
What Does It Do?
The additive provides initial lubrication to the turbocharger, protecting internal moving components before the engine oil supply is fully established.
Its emergency-running properties help reduce the risk of damage caused by temporary oil starvation during initial start-up.
Why Is It Important?
A newly installed turbocharger may not receive full engine oil pressure immediately after starting.
Without adequate initial lubrication, the turbocharger shaft and bearings can experience excessive friction and premature wear.
When Should It Be Used?
Use when installing a new or replacement turbocharger, before the engine is started.
It is particularly useful during turbocharger replacement, engine rebuilding and professional workshop repairs.
Checks & Application
Fill the turbocharger oil inlet passage completely with LIQUI MOLY Pro-Line Turbocharger Additive before connecting the oil supply line.
Ensure the turbocharger oil feed and return lines are clean and correctly installed. Follow the manufacturer's recommended priming and start-up procedures.
