What This Product Does
The condenser is an electrical component associated with the ignition distributor. It is a replacement component rather than a complete distributor assembly; the distributor cap, rotor and contact-breaker points are separate parts.
Symptoms of Fault
Misfiring, uneven idling, difficult starting and unexpected stalling can justify an ignition-system inspection. These symptoms do not identify the condenser alone: wiring, earth connections, plugs, leads and other distributor components should also be checked.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewal is appropriate when testing identifies a defective condenser or inspection finds damage. Confirming the fault first helps avoid replacing an unrelated component while leaving the original cause of poor running unresolved.
FAQs
Is this a complete distributor?
No. This product is the condenser only.
What should I check before selecting it?
Compare the original reference, distributor identification and vehicle application. The supplied diagrams record several condenser designations and production cutoffs, so model name alone is not sufficient.
