This is only the replacement filter for the induction kit.
Replacement filter for GruppeM RAM AIR SYSTEMS epitomize the GruppeM philosophy of attention to detail. By replacing the factory air handling systems, increased airflow streams into the combustion chamber.On the GruppeM intake for the Porsche 964 3.6L 1989-94 , the factory ductwork is replaced with heat-shielding carbon fiber with enhanced inlets to capture the maximum amount of air. Lower intake air temperatures carry higher concentrations of oxygen, allowing for more energetic explosions and producing more horsepower and torque. Of course, reliability is never sacrificed -- high-efficiency, high-flow K&N air filter materials prevent contaminants from interfering with proper engine function.

BMC air filters are designed and produced to ensure a higher air flow than original paper filters. In F1, for example, BMC cotton filters minimize the loss of air flow pressure passing through the air filter; this way ensures the best conditions for full exploitation of maximum power. Therefore the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with BMC cotton air filter, produced using the same technology and materials as the F1 air filters, are evident.
DESIGN AND MATERIALS
Qualified engineers using advanced software and expert technicians using the latest technologies produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very light, must be made of the best raw materials and must improve performance. For this reason we use only alloy mesh with epoxy coating to ensure protection from petrol fumes and from oxidization due to the humidity of the air. The filtering material is composed of a special cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil to give you the best air permeability.

The Eventuri Cayenne V6 intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. We use 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fibreglass which means we can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow. Here are the details for each component and the design ethos behind them:

Carbon Fiber Flow Collector
2 x Bespoke High Flow Dry Cone Filters
Custom EPDM Hose
ENLARGED AIRBOX LID
The first constraint we had to overcome in order to dramatically increase the overall volume of the intake was the airbox lid. The stock lid leaves a shallow opening for the flow collector and also restricts the filtration medium being used. By creating a raised portion in the middle of the lid we are able to create more space for a larger flow collector and also for larger filters. The lid is made from prepreg carbon fibre and uses the same mounting points as the stock lid.
CARBON FLOW COLLECTOR & FILTERS
Directing the airflow from the filters to the turbo inlet is the flow collector. The stock one is constricted in size due to the stock lid but having removed that restriction, we were able to dramatically increase the volume of our version. In addition, this also gave us the freedom to replace the stock filter with higher flowing cone filters which also have a larger total surface area. Our collector smoothly transitions down to the turbo inlet to minimise turbulence and allow the turbo to operate with less restriction.
The complete system comes together to provide an intake which improves on the stock airbox in performance, aesthetics and sound ...
