The OE Match Horn Grille for Additional Lamp, Chrome Metal is a premium-quality replacement exterior trim component designed for compatible classic Porsche models equipped with auxiliary or additional driving lamps. Fits:
- Porsche 911 1968-1973 2.2L / 2.4L / 2.7L RS LWB (F)
Manufactured from high-quality stamped steel with a durable polished chrome finish, the grille is engineered to resist corrosion, stone impacts, road debris and weather exposure. Precision-formed to replicate the original Porsche design, it provides direct OE-style fitment using the factory mounting points, ensuring seamless integration with the front body panel. Ideal for restoration projects, accident repairs or replacing pitted, damaged or missing original grilles.
What This Product Does:
- Restores the factory appearance of the front bodywork.
- Protects the horn and surrounding components from road debris.
- Complements vehicles fitted with additional driving lamps.
- Allows unrestricted airflow through the grille openings.
- Provides secure mounting and alignment.
- Enhances the classic chrome styling of the vehicle.
- Replaces damaged, corroded or missing original grilles.
- Forms an essential part of the front body trim assembly.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Pitted or corroded chrome finish.
- Dents or impact damage.
- Loose or poorly fitting grille.
- Cracked or distorted grille sections.
- Missing grille assembly.
- Surface rust or corrosion.
- Damaged mounting points or fixings.
- Reduced protection for the horn assembly.
- Poor cosmetic appearance of the front bodywork.
- Reduced originality during restoration.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The horn grille is constantly exposed to rain, road salt, UV radiation, stone impacts and general road debris. Over time, the chrome finish can deteriorate, corrosion may develop and accidental damage can affect both the appearance and fitment of the grille.
- A damaged or missing grille reduces protection for the horn and surrounding components while detracting from the distinctive front-end styling of a classic Porsche. Corrosion and poor fitment can also affect the overall quality of a restoration or concours build.
- Replacing a worn or damaged horn grille restores the original factory appearance and helps protect the front body components from everyday road hazards. The OE Match replacement provides OE-style fitment, premium chrome-plated metal construction and long-lasting durability, making it the ideal solution for Porsche restoration, repair and preventative maintenance.
