Our new, Gen 2 fresh air blower assembly for Porsche 911 models is designed to replace the ancient and noisy original fresh air blower.
As with all Classic Retrofit products, it fits straight into the car without modification, using the original electrical plug and Bowden cable work.
It is true plug and play.
Internally, the blower unit uses a modern double-cage fan which can move more air than the original. The real game changer is that it incorporates a modern parallel flow evaporator.
This allows a 911 with our A/C to get rid of the clunky separate A/C blower in the smuggler's box (LHD) or behind the passenger footboard (RHD). Two blowers are integrated into one modern unit, saving weight and space.
You can pair this blower with a traditional A/C system or if you want to join the electric A/C revolution, try our complete electric kit.

• Position on Vehicle: Mounted inside the front bulkhead/heater box on the left-side (driver’s side) of the vehicle, as part of the HVAC blower assembly.
• Applications: Ideal replacement when the original blower motor shows signs of failing (noise, reduced airflow, erratic operation) or when restoring the HVAC system of a 964 or 993 model to full performance.
The blower motor is a critical component of your vehicle’s HVAC system - it supplies the airflow needed for heating, cooling and ventilation of the cabin. When the motor wears out or fails, you may experience reduced airflow, noise, inconsistent cabin temperature, or even system shut-down. Replacing it with a high-quality OE-Match unit restores proper air distribution, helps preserve the lifespan of other HVAC components and ensures passenger comfort and safety.
When and why to replace:
• Noticeably reduced airflow or weak ventilation in heating/AC mode.
• Unusual noises (grinding, squealing, or rattling) coming from the blower motor or vents.
• Motor does not run or runs intermittently, especially when HVAC is switched on.

The Electrocooler electric air conditioning system for Porsche 964/993 is an update to the original factory A/C system using an electric compressor pump.

Please note! Our electric air conditioning likes a healthy current. We recommend upgrading the original alternator in the vast majority of installations. Porsche 964 and 993 models are less affected but may still benefit.
