The Porsche Headlamp Back Cover is a genuine OEM part designed to protect and seal the rear of the headlight unit on Porsche 911 (997) models equipped with Xenon headlights and directional beam systems.

What This Product Does:
Protects the rear of the headlamp unit. It covers the bulb/opening at the rear of the headlight housing to keep out dust, moisture, debris, and other contaminants. Without a proper cover, the headlamp internals (bulb base, electrical connections, reflectors) can get exposed and degrade.

Symptoms Of A Worn, Missing Or Faulty Cover:
- There is visible dust, dirt, or moisture inside the headlamp (fogging of lens, condensation).
- The bulb wiring or connectors are getting dirty, corroded, or oxidising.
- The headlamp bulb is more likely to fail prematurely because of exposure to moisture or debris.
- Unwanted noise or slight leaks from the headlamp housing area.
- The cover is missing, cracked, warped, or doesn’t seal properly.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Protects light output and longevity of bulbs: keeping moisture and contaminants out helps the Xenon bulbs perform correctly and last longer.
- Maintains the integrity of the headlamp unit (reflectors, lens, internal wiring) by keeping the internal environment sealed.
