Fuel pump kit by OE Match/Kits for Porsche Panamera 970 MK1 and MK2 3.6L and 4.8L models without auxiliary heater (without option I850/I851), using OE references 97062013201 and 97020142403, designed for selected V6 and V8 variants from 2009–2016.
What This Product Does This kit provides the main fuel pump and associated components to deliver fuel from the tank to the engine at the specified pressure and flow. Correct fuel supply supports stable starting, smooth running, and consistent performance across everyday and higher load driving.
Functions
- Supplies fuel from the tank to the engine
- Maintains system fuel pressure within specified limits
- Supports efficient combustion under varying load
- Helps minimise hesitation, surging, or cutting out from fuel starvation
- Integrates with existing fuel lines, filters, and control electronics
Symptoms of Fault
- Long cranking or intermittent no-start, especially when hot
- Hesitation, surging, or loss of power at higher revs or under load
- Stalling at junctions or when accelerating
- Whining or humming noise from the fuel tank area
- Engine running lean or fuel pressure testing below specification
- Pump not priming or operating consistently
Why Replacement Matters Fuel pump wear, contamination, or electrical issues can reduce fuel flow and pressure, leading to poor drivability, misfires, or non-start conditions. Replacing the pump and key supporting parts together helps restore reliable fuel delivery and reduce repeat labour where ageing components are involved. Kits that follow OE specification are selected to support correct fit and function on the intended Panamera 970 applications.

FAQs
- Q: Is this kit vehicle-specific?
A: It is intended for listed Porsche Panamera 970 3.6L and 4.8L models without auxiliary heater. Always confirm model year, engine, and option codes such as I850/I851 before purchase. - Q: What other parts should be checked when replacing the fuel pump?
A: Inspect fuel filters, strainers, hoses, relays, and electrical connectors for restriction, damage, or poor contact that could affect pump operation. - Q: Can similar symptoms come from other components?
A: Yes, blocked filters, failing relays, low voltage supply, or pressure regulator faults can mimic a weak pump, so testing fuel pressure and electrical supply is recommended.
