They act as acoustic insulation panels, dampening sound caused by tyre contact, road surface vibrations, and airflow within the wheel arch. In addition to improving cabin refinement, these absorbers can also help protect surrounding components by reducing debris impact and vibration transfer.
What This Product Does:
- Reduces road noise and tyre roar entering the cabin
- Damps vibration and acoustic resonance in the front wheel housing
- Helps improve overall driving comfort and refinement
- Protects inner wheel arch areas from minor debris contact
- Restores original factory insulation and fitment
Symptoms Of A Missing Or Damaged Sound Absorber:
- Increased road or tyre noise inside the cabin
- Loose, torn, or sagging wheel arch insulation
- Missing wheel housing lining after accident repair or suspension work
- Water or debris damage causing the absorber to break down
- Rattling or flapping noises from inside the wheel arch
Why Replacement Matters:
- Maintains factory-level cabin quietness and comfort
- Prevents exposed wheel arch areas from increased noise and vibration
- Improves interior driving quality—especially at motorway speeds
- Ensures correct OEM fitment after repairs or replacement of liners
- Helps preserve vehicle condition and resale value
