Manufactured to OE specifications, it is engineered to provide progressive cushioning during heavy suspension compression while preserving factory ride quality and handling precision.
Installed on the front shock absorber shaft beneath the protective dust boot, the bump stop acts as a secondary suspension damper. During aggressive cornering, braking, uneven road conditions, or pothole impacts, the bump stop absorbs excess compression energy before the suspension reaches its mechanical limit. This helps prevent metal-to-metal contact and reduces stress on the shock absorber, suspension mounts, and chassis components.
