The park distance control sensor emits ultrasonic waves and detects reflected signals from nearby objects. It then sends that information to the vehicle’s parking assist computer, which calculates the distance between your car and obstacles while parking. This system helps produce audible warnings and/or visual cues to support safer low-speed manoeuvres and avoid collisions when reversing or navigating tight spaces.

• Ultrasonic detection: Sends and receives signals to sense objects near the vehicle
• Distance calculation: Helps estimate how close obstacles are during parking
