The support provides the mounting foundation for the registration plate at the front bumper. Its role is to hold the plate in position; it is not a replacement bumper assembly.
Functions
- Supports the front registration plate.
- Maintains the plate's mounting position relative to the bumper.
- Replaces a damaged or missing plate support during bodywork repairs.
Technical Details
- Brand: OE Match.
- Product reference: 92870112104.
- Installation position: front bumper.

Symptoms of Fault
Movement, rattling or an unevenly positioned plate can indicate a damaged support or loose fixings. Inspect the support and its attachment points before deciding which components need replacement.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing a damaged support helps restore the plate's intended position and a tidy front-end appearance. Check the adjoining bumper mounting points and fasteners at the same time, as damage elsewhere may prevent a replacement support from seating correctly.

Most automobiles come from the factory without the provisions for front license plates due to the fact that many states and countries do not require a front plate. The last thing you want to do is drill holes in your very expensive bumper cover just to mount that ugly front tag. Rennline’s billet license plate mount eliminates the need to drill and allows you to easily remove your plate for shows, track events or anytime it is not needed. This design allows you to adjust your plates location by height, width and angle. Unlike any other designs on the market, we have engineered this system to be easily removed from the car without first removing your license plate and plate frame. All components are stainless, powder coated or anodized to withstand daily driving conditions.
