- Porsche 911 1968-1973 2.2L / 2.4L / 2.7L RS LWB (F)
Manufactured from high-quality chrome-plated steel with a durable, UV-resistant rubber insert, the over rider is engineered to withstand road debris, weather exposure and everyday use. Precision-formed to match the original contours and mounting points, it provides direct OE-style installation and seamlessly integrates with the original front bumper assembly, making it ideal for restorations, accident repairs or replacing worn or damaged original over riders.
What This Product Does:
- Provides additional protection for the front bumper.
- Helps absorb minor parking and low-speed impacts.
- Protects the bumper surface from scuffs and scratches.
- Restores the original appearance of the front bumper.
- Features a durable rubber insert for added impact protection.
- Maintains the classic factory styling of the vehicle.
- Provides direct OE-style fitment.
- Forms an essential part of the front bumper assembly.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Pitted, dull or peeling chrome finish.
- Cracked, split or hardened rubber insert.
- Corrosion or rust on the metal body.
- Dents or impact damage.
- Loose or poorly secured over rider.
- Scratches or damage affecting appearance.
- Missing or damaged mounting hardware.
- Poor bumper alignment caused by damaged fittings.
- Reduced protection against minor impacts.
- Diminished originality during restoration.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The front bumper over riders are continually exposed to road debris, moisture, UV rays, salt and minor impacts during everyday driving and parking. Over time, the chrome finish can deteriorate, corrosion may develop and the rubber insert can harden, crack or perish, reducing both appearance and protective performance.
- A damaged or worn over rider can detract from the classic appearance of the vehicle while offering less protection to the bumper during low-speed impacts. Loose or corroded components may also affect bumper stability and reduce the quality of a restoration.
- Replacing worn or damaged over riders restores the original factory appearance and protective function of the front bumper. The OE Match Front Bumper Chrome Over Rider with Rubber is manufactured to OE standards using premium-quality materials, providing factory-style fitment, exceptional durability and an authentic finish, making it the ideal choice for Porsche restoration, repair and concours preparation.
