The Fabspeed Porsche 996 Turbo XperTune Performance Software is a specialist ECU tuning upgrade developed for Porsche 911 Turbo, Turbo S and X50-equipped models of the 996 generation, manufactured between 2000 and 2005.

The XperTune system uses a supplied handheld programming device that connects to the vehicle through its OBD-II diagnostic port, allowing the original ECU data to be read and a customised performance calibration to be installed without physically removing the ECU.
Unlike conventional tuning methods that require the ECU to be removed and sent away for bench programming, the Fabspeed system provides a convenient, reversible approach to engine performance optimisation.
