The Fabspeed Porsche 986 Boxster Sport Headers are a performance exhaust upgrade designed to improve exhaust flow, scavenging, throttle response and flat-six sound on Porsche 986 Boxster.

The headers use equal-length CNC mandrel-bent primary tubes combined with F1-style high-velocity merge collectors. This configuration is designed to improve the way exhaust gases leave each cylinder and merge into the exhaust system, reducing unnecessary restriction and supporting more efficient engine breathing.
1997–1999 Porsche 986 Boxster / Boxster S: The factory headers do not incorporate primary catalytic converters, so the Fabspeed headers for these vehicles are supplied without sport catalysts.
Fabspeed reports +8 wheel horsepower and +4 lb-ft of torque when the Sport Headers are installed with the Fabspeed Maxflo Performance Exhaust System. These are manufacturer-reported figures from a specific vehicle and are not guaranteed results for every application.
What This Product Does:
Exhaust headers collect combustion gases as they leave the engine's cylinder heads and direct them into the remainder of the exhaust system.
The design and length of the individual primary tubes influence how efficiently these exhaust pulses leave the cylinders.
The Fabspeed Sport Headers are designed to improve this process through equal-length primary tubing and high-velocity merge collectors.
