What This Product Does:
Catalytic converters form an important part of the vehicle's exhaust and emissions-control system.
Exhaust gases leaving the turbochargers pass through the catalytic converters before travelling through the remainder of the exhaust system. The catalyst promotes chemical reactions that convert harmful exhaust pollutants into less harmful gases before they leave the exhaust.
Performance catalytic converters perform the same fundamental role but use a less restrictive internal structure to improve exhaust flow.
