- Porsche 955 Cayenne Turbo S 4.5L 2006>>
The Fabspeed Deluxe Quad Style Exhaust Tips are a premium replacement and styling upgrade for the 2002–2007 Porsche 955 Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S.
Fits:
- Porsche 955 Cayenne Turbo 4.5L 2003-06
- Porsche 955 Cayenne Turbo S 4.5L 2006>>
Designed as direct bolt-on replacement outlets, these tips can be fitted to the factory exhaust system or compatible aftermarket exhausts. The quad-tip arrangement gives the rear of the Cayenne Turbo a more distinctive, performance-inspired appearance while replacing ageing, damaged or heavily discoloured original exhaust outlets.
Manufactured from high-quality 14–16 gauge T304 stainless steel, the tips are built to withstand exhaust heat, condensation, moisture and everyday road exposure.
What This Product Does:
Exhaust tips form the visible final section of the exhaust system and provide the outlet through which exhaust gases leave the vehicle.
The Fabspeed Deluxe Quad Style Tips are designed primarily to:
- Replace worn, damaged or corroded original exhaust tips
- Provide a distinctive quad-outlet appearance
- Improve the visual finish of the rear exhaust system
- Maintain secure and correctly aligned exhaust outlets
- Work with the factory or compatible aftermarket exhaust system
- Provide durable stainless-steel construction
- Allow a straightforward bolt-on upgrade without replacing the complete exhaust
These tips are primarily a cosmetic, durability and replacement upgrade rather than a major engine-performance modification.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Exhaust tips are continuously exposed to high temperatures, exhaust deposits, condensation, moisture, road salt and debris.
Common signs that the original tips may require replacement include:
- Surface rust or corrosion
- Pitting in the metal
- Permanent staining or heavy discolouration
- Excessive soot deposits
- Peeling or deterioration of the original finish
- Dents or deformation
- Scratches or impact damage
- Loose mounting points
- Rattling or vibration
- Cracks around welds or attachment areas
- Tips sitting unevenly or incorrectly aligned
- Contact between the exhaust tip and bumper or trim
- Mounting hardware that has become heavily corroded
- A worn appearance that cannot be restored through cleaning or polishing
Cosmetic deterioration alone may not affect exhaust operation, but severe corrosion or damaged mounting points can allow a tip to become loose.
Why Replacement Matters:
Exhaust tips are a prominent visual part of the rear of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S.
Worn, stained or damaged tips can significantly detract from the vehicle's appearance. More importantly, a loose or distorted exhaust tip may vibrate or move enough to contact surrounding bumper components.
Continued movement can cause:
- Unwanted rattling
- Damage to surrounding trim
- Increased stress on exhaust mounting points
- Poor outlet alignment
- Further deterioration of mounting hardware
- Possible detachment if the mounting area becomes severely weakened
- Replacing worn exhaust tips helps restore:
- Correct exhaust outlet positioning
- Secure mounting
- A clean and finished rear appearance
- Reduced vibration and rattling
- Protection against contact with surrounding trim
Where the main exhaust system remains in good condition, replacing only the exhaust tips is also a practical way to refresh the vehicle without replacing silencers, catalytic converters or other major exhaust components.
