Exhaust Valvetronic X-Pipe system.
For late model exhaust brackets
The Fabspeed Valvetronic X-Pipe Exhaust System for the 718 4.0L cars wakes up the sleepy Porsche PSE exhaust and gives them a truly exotic sports car sound all while retaining the functionality of PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust). Our design process started with 3D scanning the entire exhaust system using our CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that we could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. We then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. After multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing we settled on using our CAD flow engineered investment cast X-Pipe and 2.5" 63.5 mm tubing for the most power and exotic sports car sound. The CAD flow modeled X-pipe is an exclusive Fabspeed part that gives a smooth high pitched exotic sound and flows much better than a X-Pipe handmade from U bends cut and welded together. The exhaust valves we use are made by Helical Limited in the United Kingdom. These ISO 9001 certified valves are the same ones Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche use on their GT cars. The flanges are thick 304 stainless steel that we CAD designed to perfectly match the OEM flanges and reuse the factory metal gaskets.
SOUND: With PSE off our Valvetronic exhaust gives a nice increase in volume without any cabin drone. With PSE on and the valves open it turns the 4.0L's exhaust note into a truly exotic sound with a significant increase in volume. This system will turn heads as you rip by.
POWER: When used in conjunction with our GPF Delete Over Axle Pipes we saw a gain of 14 HP and 32 ft/lbs of TQ at 2400 RPM, 8 HP and 9 ft/lbs of TQ at 4900 RPM and 12 HP and 8 ft/lbs of TQ at 7500 RPM. This is low end torque you'll really feel around town and horsepower that continues all the way up to redline.

The Fabspeed Valvetronic Nordschleife Cat-Back Exhaust System gives the 992 GT3 a truly exotic sports car sound, all while retaining the functionality of PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust). After multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing we decided to use our signature cast X-Pipe to tie the two cylinder banks together for exhaust scavenging and to defeat resonance. The exhaust valves are made by Helical Limited in the United Kingdom. These ISO 9001 certified valves are the same ones Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche use on their GT cars. The piping is mandrel bent from T304 Stainless steel, and you have five different tip options to choose from.
SOUND:
With PSE off our Valvetronic exhaust gives a nice subtle increase in volume. With PSE on it turns the 4.0L's exhaust note into a truly exotic sound with a significant increase in volume. The exhaust note changes from the smooth purr of the OEM exhaust to the aggressive race-bred snarl of a 911 CUP car. (If you need to cut down on how loud your exhaust is because of race track rules, we sell turn down tips which cut 3-6db of exhaust SPL.)
POWER:
This system improves on Porsche's design by increasing pipe diameter from 2.5 in to 2.75 in and using our signature cast X-pipe instead of the factory H-Pipe. On our DynoJet we saw +14 whp at 4200 RPM and a healthy dose of torque down low at 4200 RPM gaining 17 ft/lbs of tq. That's 16 HP gain at the crank.

Fabspeed RENNKRAFT™ Modular street and racing headers with HJS catalytic converters.
These modular headers are the perfect solution for any street driven 992 GT3. Our RENNKRAFT™ modular design features a quick release V-band connector that allows the owner to easily swap between our German made HJS 200 cell cats and QUICKTRACK™ cat bypass "straight pipes" for track use (patent pending). Rennkraft, translated from German is "race power". These unique headers offer true street and racetrack functionality in an innovative precision engineered package.
SOUND:
Many say sound is a subjective thing, but we like to think we've made the 992 GT3 sound objectively better with these high flowing headers. Equipped with our 200 cell cats, you will get a louder exhaust note with a much more raw sound. Higher frequency tones are more defined, and deceleration burbles are more robust and transparent. With the cat bypass pipes installed, the GT3 turns into a motorsport bred monster. At [art throttle the volume isn't overbearing, but the sound is very aggressive and race bred. With the stock muffler in place, there is no drone what-so-ever, even with the cat bypass option installed.
POWER:
After extensive dyno development we found the optimal header length and diameter. With no tune, compared to a stock car we gained 16 whp and 20 ft/lbs of TQ with the Sport Cats and 19 whp and 26 ft/lbs of TQ with Cat Bypass installed. That's a gain of 19 HP and 23 HP, respectively, at the crank! Peak horsepower also increased from our baseline of 452 whp to 461 whp with our HJS Sport Cats and 468 whp with Cat Bypass Pipes. Why We Choose HJS Catalytic Converters:
HJS German imported catalytic converters are made from some of the highest grade materials you can find in a catalytic converter. This yields high performance gains and longevity so it wont deteriorate over time like lower grade catalytic converters. These catalytic converters flow up to 93-95% of a straight pipe in most applications. The benefit is that you get the "straight pipe sound" while still being able to provide enough emissions scrubbing to prevent a check engine light. Sport Catalytic Converter (STREET) - This product removes the OEM catalytic converters from the vehicle, and as such, is strictly intended for closed track events and off-road use only. Why We Choose HJS Catalytic Converters:
HJS German imported catalytic converters are made from some of the highest grade materials you can find in a catalytic converter. This yields high performance gains and longevity so it wont deteriorate over time like lower grade catalytic converters. These catalytic converters flow up to 93-95% of a straight pipe in most applications. The benefit is that you get the "straight pipe sound" while still being able to provide enough emissions scrubbing to prevent a check engine light. Sport Catalytic Converter (STREET) - This product removes the OEM catalytic converters from the vehicle, and as such, is strictly intended for closed track events and off-road use only. This product contains a High-Flow Sport Catalytic Converter solely intended for track and race cars as it is NOT California Air Resources Board Certified and not EPA certified. You are hereby informed and warned to check your local, state, and federals laws before buying and installing these or any aftermarket parts to be sure whether usage is in violation. All installation-risk and use-risk is borne by the end-user and installer of these parts.
Cat Bypass (RACE) - This product removes the OEM catalytic converters from the vehicle, and as such, is strictly intended for closed track events and off-road use only. This product is or contains a Racing Cat Bypass Pipe, which will give you check engine lights on OBD2 cars. Racing Cat Bypass Pipes are solely intended for track and race cars as they are NOT California Air Resources Board Certified and not EPA certified. You are hereby informed and warned to check your local, state, and federals laws before buying and installing these or any aftermarket parts to be sure whether usage is in violation.
