The Fabspeed Sport Cat with Downpipe is a great bolt-on modification for any 718 Turbo car. These Sport Cat with Downpipes feature German made HJS 200 cell EURO 6 EC certified compliant trimetallic catalytic converters. We use all mandrel bent T304L stainless steel 3 inch tubing that splits into 2 inch tubing from the cat to the rest of the exhaust. The cats are the largest and highest flowing catalytic converters you can fit on the 718. Larger catalytic converters are better because they allow for more exhaust flow and the increased catalysts surface area allows for better exhaust gas filtering which means emissions compliance and will NOT trigger a check engine light. Our Sport Cat Downpipes are a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory 718 catalytic converter and downpipe.
SOUND:
The Sport Cat with Downpipe adds more volume to the characteristic boxer engine rumble. No droning, and the activation of Sport mode greatly increases cracks and pops during shifting and overrun conditions. Expect a slight increase in turbo sound as well - which can be enhanced even further at any point with the separate addition of our Maxflo Exhaust System.
POWER:
Fabspeed's Sport Cat with Downpipe will add an estimated 20 whp. You can extract even more power with our hardware in conjunction with a Fabspeed ECU Tune.
FINISH:
T304L stainless steel, beautifully welded together and finished off with hand made single-wall stainless steel tips or premium matte carbon fiber shrouded tips.
