The kit reproduces the appearance and layout of the original factory-style engine cooling shrouding and is intended for engines fitted with the large 245 mm cooling fan. It incorporates the correct one-piece oil cooler air duct arrangement together with the surrounding engine covers required to guide cooling air around the air-cooled flat-six engine.
Each component is manufactured by hand using glass-fibre fabric with a special honey / amber-coloured resin, creating the distinctive translucent appearance associated with classic Porsche racing and performance engines of the 1960s and 1970s. This period-style construction makes the kit especially suitable for restorations, historic competition cars, restomods and detailed engine-bay rebuilds where an authentic classic appearance is desired.
