The kit includes two OE Match engine mounts along with the correct genuine Porsche bolts and nuts required for a secure and factory-style installation.
SET OF 2, with bolts and nuts.
Fits:
For cars WITHOUT Dynamic Engine Mount PADM (option code: 140)
Porsche 991.2 Carrera 2016 - 2019
Porsche 991.2 Turbo 2016 - 2019
Diagram ref no 7, 8 and 9.
Engine mounts play a critical role in supporting the engine and isolating vibrations, ensuring smooth drivetrain operation and maintaining proper engine alignment within the chassis.
Kit Includes
2 × OE Match Engine Mount – 99137504904
4 × Genuine Porsche Bolt – 90038516701
2 × Genuine Porsche Nut – N90848405
This complete set allows both engine mounts to be replaced at the same time, ensuring balanced engine support and optimal vibration damping.
The engine mounts stabilise the powertrain and limit excessive engine movement. By isolating vibration and maintaining correct engine alignment, they contribute to smoother power delivery, improved driving comfort and reduced stress on surrounding components such as the exhaust system and transmission.
Replacing worn mounts restores the vehicle’s original driving refinement and drivetrain stability.
Function
• Support: Securely mounts the engine to the chassis
• Vibration Isolation: Reduces engine vibration transmitted to the cabin
• Drivetrain Stability: Maintains correct engine alignment during dynamic driving
• Component Protection: Minimises stress on transmission, exhaust and drivetrain components
Engine mounts are exposed to constant heat, vibration and engine torque. Over time the internal rubber and damping components can degrade, reducing their ability to absorb vibration and stabilise the engine. Worn mounts may cause increased cabin vibration, drivetrain movement or knocking sounds during acceleration. Replacing both mounts with OE Match units restores proper engine support and ensures smooth, stable drivetrain performance.
Consider replacing the engine mounts if you notice:
• Increased vibration in the cabin
• Clunking or movement during acceleration or shifting
• Excessive engine movement when revving
• Visible cracking or deterioration of the mount

Unlike standard replacements that replicate the original flawed design, Ninemeister completely re-engineered this component to provide a permanent fix, offering reliability, consistency, and long-term peace of mind.
What It Does
The PADM (Porsche Active Drivetrain Mount) system
dynamically adjusts engine mount stiffness to improve handling, stability, and
ride comfort.
The 9m uprated PADM sensor monitors mount performance and communicates real-time data to the car’s control module, ensuring optimal drivetrain behaviour in Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus modes.
Key Benefits of the 9m PADM Replacement Sensor:
- Permanent Solution: Eliminates error codes 001013 / 001023 caused by sensor failure.
- Re-engineered Design: Precision CNC-machined housing and secure internal chip mounting prevent vibration-induced detachment.
- Improved Durability: Withstands heat, fluid pressure, and continuous engine vibration without degradation.
- Plug-and-Play Compatibility: Direct fit for 981 (2012–2016), 991 (2011–2019), and 718 (2019–2026) models.
- Unlimited 2-Year Warranty: Backed by Ninemeister quality assurance — no more repeated failures.
This upgraded sensor ensures consistent performance of your Porsche’s active drivetrain mounts, restoring precision handling and eliminating dashboard faults once and for all.
Why PADM Sensors Fail
The original PADM sensor’s internal measuring chip is glued
in place within the mount. Over time, engine vibrations, pressure from magnetic
fluid, and heat cycles cause the chip to dislodge.
When this happens, the sensor sends incorrect readings to
the control unit, triggering Check Engine Lights (CEL) and fault codes such as 001013
/ 001023.
Symptoms may include:
- Illuminated CEL or drivetrain warning lights
- Inconsistent
handling in Sport / Sport Plus modes
- Engine
mount replacements with no lasting fix
- Reduced performance response
Ninemeister’s uprated sensor resolves this by replacing the glued chip with a mechanically secured, vibration-resistant mounting system — permanently eliminating the root cause of PADM failure.
Why It Should Be Replaced
Replacing a failing PADM sensor with the 9m Uprated Version ensures your Porsche maintains its original handling precision and eliminates costly repeat repairs.
Benefits of Replacement:
- Eliminate Dashboard Errors: Permanently fixes error codes 001013 / 001023.
- Restore Sport Mode Performance: Revives adaptive drivetrain control for consistent handling.
- Save Money Long-Term: No need for frequent sensor or mount replacements.
- Peace of Mind: Backed by an unlimited 2-year warranty for worry-free ownership.
- Direct Fit: Simple plug-and-play installation — no modifications required.
- Built by Experts: Engineered by Ninemeister, a trusted name in Porsche performance innovation.
This sensor upgrade transforms your PADM system from a weak point into a permanent reliability upgrade.
Advantages at a Glance

Engineered as a direct replacement for failed or faulty PADM sensors, this upgraded unit incorporates several significant improvements over the original design to provide enhanced durability, reliability, and long-term performance.
Featuring a mechanically pinned internal chip, CNC-machined aluminium housing, and OEM-level calibration, this sensor is designed to withstand the harsh operating conditions found in high-performance Porsche applications while delivering factory-level signal accuracy.
Unlike conventional sensors that rely on adhesive bonding, the internal sensing chip is mechanically secured to improve resistance to vibration, temperature fluctuations, and long-term fatigue. The precision-machined aluminium housing further enhances heat resistance, pressure resistance, and overall structural integrity.
Designed as a true plug-and-play solution, installation requires no coding, software calibration, or specialist programming. Simply install the sensor and restore correct PADM operation.
This upgraded sensor has undergone extensive testing across multiple Porsche applications to ensure OEM-level performance and reliable communication with the vehicle's PADM control system.

• PADM system deactivation issues
• Active engine mount sensor failures
Common PADM Fault Symptoms
Typical symptoms of a failing PADM sensor include:
• "Porsche PADM Disabled" warning displayed
• "PADM Fault" warning message on the dashboard
• Repeated Check Engine Light (CEL) activation
• Unstable handling in Sport or Sport Plus mode
• Rough idle or excessive engine vibration
• Drivetrain mount behaviour feeling too soft or too firm
• Diagnostic fault codes 001013 or 001023
Reinforced Internal Design
Mechanically Pinned Chip Technology
The internal sensing element is mechanically secured rather than glued, providing improved durability and resistance to vibration-induced failures.
CNC-Machined Aluminium Housing
The precision-engineered aluminium casing offers superior protection against:
• High engine bay temperatures
• Pressure fluctuations
• Continuous vibration
• Long-term wear and fatigue
Plug & Play Installation
