The Porsche Genuine OE Exhaust Valve is a factory-specified engine component designed for the air-cooled flat-six engines used in Porsche 993 models. This precision-machined valve forms part of the engine’s valvetrain and controls the flow of exhaust gases leaving the combustion chamber.

The exhaust valve opens and closes in precise synchronization with the engine’s camshaft to allow burnt combustion gases to exit the cylinder after the power stroke. Once the exhaust gases are expelled, the valve closes tightly to seal the combustion chamber during the intake and compression cycles.
