This seal is designed to fit the front of the engine compartment on the Porsche 911 G-series (1974-1989). Built to original Porsche specification for perfect fit and material properties Helps to prevent unwanted contaminants from entering the engine bay and protect wiring, hoses and grommets.

Over time, the engine compartment seal can harden, crack, or lose elasticity due to heat, oil exposure, and age. A worn or damaged seal allows water, dust, and engine heat to escape or enter where it shouldn’t - leading to corrosion, dirty engine bays, and reduced cooling efficiency.
