The 99634306904 (left) or 99634307004 (right) front/rear control arms are high-quality replacements designed for Porsche 996 Carrera and 986 Boxster models. These arms controlling wheel position, maintaining proper camber/toe geometry, and ensuring stable, precise steering feedback. Manufactured to OE specifications.
Fits:
Porsche 986 Boxster 1997-04 (Front and Rear)
Porsche 996 C2 1998-05 (Front only)
Diagram ref no 5
These OE Match arms are ideal for replacing worn or cracked bushings, knocking ball joints, or excessive suspension play that develops with age and mileage.
These arms keep the front wheels correctly aligned by controlling camber and toe changes during suspension travel. Their bushings absorb vibration and maintain chassis stability, while the ball joint allows smooth steering articulation. Together, they ensure the sharp steering response and balanced handling expected from Porsche sports cars.
Over time, the rubber bushings and ball joints deteriorate under heat, stress and road impacts. This leads to vague steering, clunks over bumps, uneven tyre wear and difficulty maintaining alignment. Replacing the arms restores precise suspension control, improves safety and brings back the responsive handling characteristic of Porsche’s front-engine layout.
When to Replace:
• Audible knocking or clunking over bumps
• Excessive play detected in ball joints
• Uneven or rapid front tyre wear
• Steering feels loose or wanders at speed
• Alignment cannot be held after adjustment
• Visible cracking or movement in the arm’s bushings.
