Convert the G-Model engine to 964/993 induction with Drive by Wire set-up
Fits:
Porsche 911 - 1974 to 1989
Please Note:
The aluminium or plastic intake plenum (inlet manifold) is not included in the kit
Product Overview:
Inject power and precision into your vintage aircooled engine
Conversion kit for the 911 G-model to become a DBW (Drive by wire) intake based on the 964 induction and using the 74mm original Bosch throttle body (Sometimes referred to as 76mm). This is intended to breathe a bit more life into a classic G-model.
The kit includes
- Throttle body runner for 74mm throttle body
- Original Bosch electronic throttle body
- Original Bosch MAP-T-sensor
- Resonance tube
- Vacuum solenoid
- Connectors and hose
- Vacuum check valve
- Intake runners for the Porsche 911 G-model engine
Intake runners are made out of billet aluminium, 3D milled in a 5-axis machine. The port diameter indicated in the options is the diameter of the port in the cylinder head. Please note that these are the 2-bolt designs.
To create a bit of intimacy between you and your engine we have included a bit of DIY work for you to convert the Porsche 964 intake into this version.
This kit does not come with 964 intake manifolds so you will need so source a pair separately.
The intake also exists in two versions (billet aluminium or PA12 plastic) - This is the premium version where the throttle body runner is milled out of a billet in aluminum. This is the pinnacle of craftmanship giving a very solid feel to the intake at a natural premium. Both options have the same performance and the same durability with the difference being the look and feel of a 5-axis machined piece as the very first thing you lay your eyes on when you open the engine decklid!
For both options the lower resonance tube is made from our usual modified PA12 in black.
The following parts will be reused from the 964 intake:
- Rubber boots and clamps
- Vacuum reservoir
- The aluminium or plastic plenums
- Resonance flap, actuator and shaft
Please Note:
The aluminium or plastic intake plenum is not included in the kit and neither are any of the items specifically listed as excluded above.

The spacer is designed to sit between the carburettor base (typically a SOLEX 40 PII-4) and the intake manifold on classic Porsche models - 356 B/356 C and 912, manufactured to match Porsche OE specification.
Sold each, 4 required per vehicle.
Fits:
Porsche 912 1965 - 1969
Porsche 356 B/C 1600/S90/SC 1960 - 1965

This spacer provides the correct separation and sealing interface, ensuring proper carburettor alignment, uniform port matching and preventing heat soak from the manifold into the carburettor. It is manufactured from a high-temperature-resistant to replicate the original design and maintain correct insulating properties.
Ideal for engine rebuilds, intake servicing or performance restoration, this spacer restores the intended clearance, port geometry, and sealing integrity required for reliable induction performance in classic Porsche engines.
Over time, the original spacer can deteriorate, warp or crack because of exposure to heat cycling, vibration and fuel vapour. A compromised spacer may lead to vacuum leaks, mis-metered fuel/air mixture, uneven idle or reduced performance.
Replace this spacer when:
• Performing a carburettor or intake manifold service or rebuild
• The original spacer is cracked, delaminated or missing
• Vacuum leaks or rough idle suggest induction sealing problems
• Restoring a classic Porsche engine to factory specification
Fitting new spacer ensures the correct spacing, proper sealing and authentic air-flow behaviour you need for lasting engine performance and reliability.
