"Singer Style" backdate dash trim conversion kit without heater control and radio cut-out slot
This kit includes a two piece "Singer-look" dashboard trim strip that replaces the stock foam trim on the front of the dashboard. The dash trim is CNC machined from solid aluminum and profiled, which means that any covering material (e.g. leather, upholstery, etc.) can be inserted/retracted.
Also included in the kit is an ignition switch bezel, which is required for installation as it is smaller compared to the cover fitted as the factory standard.
There is a profiled frame in the climate control area that surrounds the climate control panel and brings back the look of the classic F models.
For the standard version, this trim set is available with a slot for classic or DIN radios.
For individual interior design options, a variant without a cut-out for the climate control panel or also without a radio cutout for individual customer design is also available.
Assembly instructions
As with the "964 Singer Porsche", there is no recess for the headlight level control; instead, there is a hole for a hazard warning light switch between the light switch and the ignition switch (this may need to be individually adapted to your car). But this is possible with low effort.
This trim is designed for use without a passenger airbag. If there is a glove box, it must either be closed or the dash strip must be split and adjusted. If the vehicle has a passenger airbag and this should be retained, the strip ends around the airbag must be individually shortened and adapted to the dashboard in this area. This is also possible without any problems.
Surface finishing and optional accessories
The dashboard strip, the ignition switch bezel and all interior accessories are available in three surface finishes: polished, clear anodised and black anodised.
