- Porsche 95B.1 Macan S Diesel 3.0L V6 (258Bhp) 2014-18
The Genuine Porsche Coolant Pipe to Expansion Tank is an original equipment cooling system hose designed to transfer engine coolant between the cooling system and the expansion tank on compatible Porsche models. Manufactured to Porsche's exact specifications for fit, flexibility and durability, this coolant pipe plays a vital role in maintaining correct coolant circulation, pressure regulation and coolant level management, helping to ensure optimum engine operating temperatures.
Fits:
- Porsche 95B.1 Macan S Diesel 3.0L V6 (258Bhp) 2014-18
Diagram Ref No 8
Manufactured from premium heat-resistant reinforced rubber and high-quality automotive materials, the coolant pipe is engineered to withstand continuous exposure to hot coolant, pressure fluctuations, engine vibration and repeated thermal cycling. Precision-moulded to match the original routing and connection points, it provides factory-correct fitment and reliable leak-free performance, making it the ideal replacement during cooling system repairs or preventative maintenance.
What This Product Does:
- Transfers coolant between the engine cooling system and the expansion tank.
- Maintains correct coolant circulation and pressure.
- Supports the expansion and recovery of coolant during temperature changes.
- Helps regulate engine operating temperature.
- Prevents coolant loss through secure, leak-free connections.
- Works with the radiator, thermostat and water pump to maintain cooling system efficiency.
- Restores factory cooling system performance.
- Forms an essential part of the engine cooling system.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Coolant leaks around the hose or connections.
- Low coolant level requiring frequent topping up.
- Visible cracks, swelling or deterioration of the hose.
- Coolant residue around the expansion tank.
- Engine overheating.
- Sweet smell of coolant from the engine bay.
- Soft or collapsed coolant hose.
- Coolant warning light or low coolant message.
- Steam from the engine compartment caused by coolant leakage.
- Visible wear or damage to the hose ends.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The coolant pipe is continually exposed to hot coolant, internal pressure, engine vibration and repeated heating and cooling cycles. Over time, the hose material can harden, crack, swell or weaken, while the connection points may lose their sealing ability, increasing the risk of coolant leaks.
- A leaking or damaged coolant pipe can reduce coolant levels, allowing air to enter the cooling system and increasing the risk of engine overheating. Continued operation with insufficient coolant may lead to severe engine damage, including warped cylinder heads, failed head gaskets and premature wear of internal engine components.
- Replacing a worn or damaged coolant pipe with a Genuine Porsche component restores the integrity of the cooling system and ensures reliable coolant circulation. Manufactured to Porsche's exact engineering standards, the Genuine Coolant Pipe to Expansion Tank provides factory-correct fitment, exceptional durability and dependable long-term performance, helping to maintain the cooling efficiency, reliability and performance expected from your Porsche.
