What This Product Does
The vent forms part of the air-distribution assembly, helping direct ventilation and heating airflow. It is intended for work on the heater-box distribution components rather than the refrigerant circuit.
Functions
- Directs air through the heating and ventilation assembly.
- Supports control of cabin airflow distribution.
Technical Details
- Internal diagrams identify the component as an air distributor.
- Diagram identifier 91157134701 appears with the marking /L.
- Diagram identifier 91157134801 appears with /R and, for the M559 application, /LL.
Symptoms of Fault
Restricted or inconsistent airflow, sticking adjustment and rattling can justify inspection of the distribution assembly. Check the associated connections and fixings before identifying the vent as the cause.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing a damaged distribution component can help restore airflow control during a heating-system repair or classic-car restoration. Inspect accessible seals, clips and fixings at the same time.
FAQs
