Information
Upper wishbone on front suspension.
The upper wishbone (also called an upper control arm) is a key component of the front suspension system. It links the chassis to the wheel knuckle and helps guide the motion of the front wheels as the suspension travels over road surfaces.
Sold each, Fits Left or right side.
Fits:
Porsche 971.1 Panamera 2017 - 2021
Porsche 971.2 Panamera 2021 - 2023
Porsche 976 Panamera 2024>>
Diagram ref no 8
The upper wishbone stabilises the wheel hub and maintains correct wheel camber, caster and track during driving. It works together with the lower wishbone, ball joint and strut assembly to control wheel movement, absorb road forces and ensure stable steering response.
Replacing worn or bent wishbones with an OE Match arm helps:
• Maintain correct suspension geometry
• Improve steering precision and handling
• Reduce uneven tyre wear
• Restore ride comfort and wheel alignment
Function
• Wheel Guidance: Supports and guides front wheel movement throughout suspension travel
• Geometry Control: Maintains alignment angles (camber, caster) for predictable handling
• Load Bearing: Transfers vertical and lateral loads from the wheel to the chassis
• Durability: Reinforced design ensures long-lasting performance under dynamic driving conditions
Over time, the upper wishbone can deteriorate due to road impacts, pothole damage, corrosion, and natural wear of its bushings and joints. As it weakens, you may experience poor steering response, uneven tyre wear, pulling under braking, or vibration and instability at higher speeds. Replacing it with this OE Match upper wishbone restores proper suspension geometry, improves handling precision, enhances safety, and helps extend the life of tyres and related components.
Replace the upper wishbone if you notice:
• Unusual tyre wear patterns
• Clunking or knocking noises over bumps
• Steering misalignment or pull to one side
• Loose or imprecise steering feel
• During front suspension overhaul or alignment work

Information
Upper wishbone on front suspension.
This genuine Porsche Upper Control Arm is an original equipment suspension component manufactured to Porsche’s exact factory specifications. Often referred to as a front upper suspension arm or wishbone, this part is a critical steering and suspension link used on selected Porsche Panamera (971 / 976) models. It’s a true Porsche OEM part, ensuring perfect fit, correct bushings and ball joint integration, and the durability required for high-performance handling.
Sold each, Fits Left or right side.
Fits:
Porsche 971.1 Panamera 2017 - 2021
Porsche 971.2 Panamera 2021 - 2023
Porsche 976 Panamera 2024>>

The upper control arm is a key component of the front suspension system. It connects the steering knuckle to the chassis, helping locate the wheel while allowing controlled vertical movement.
Its role includes:
• Maintaining wheel alignment and camber during suspension travel
• Transferring loads between the chassis and steering knuckle
• Supporting smooth ride and handling by allowing controlled up/down motion
• Housing bushings and ball joints that damp vibration and permit precise steering articulation
A worn or damaged control arm can lead to uneven tyre wear, pulling, unstable handling, and noise - making this genuine Porsche arm a vital replacement item when restoring correct suspension geometry.
Control arms are fundamental to vehicle dynamics and safety. Over time, bushings and ball joints wear, leading to:
• Steering wander or pull
• Uneven tyre wear
• Clunking or knocking noise
• Reduced handling precision
A genuine Porsche OE arm ensures proper geometry, strength and durability - engineered for Panamera’s specific suspension loads and dynamics.
