The clutch bolt provides the clamping force that holds the clutch assembly together. By fastening the pressure plate to the flywheel at precise torque settings, it enables reliable torque transfer between the engine and transmission. Proper fasteners are essential for consistent clutch engagement, smooth shifting, and long-term drivetrain durability.
