Chain guide rail set.
This set is for total timing chain system renewal on Porsche 911/914/964 flat-six engines. It includes one brown-type guide rail (part number 91110522205) plus five black-type guide rails (part number 91110522207) - the exact quantities required for a complete timing-train overhaul. Each rail is manufactured to match Porsche’s original specification in material, geometry and wear profile.

• Function: Ensures proper timing-chain alignment, guides chain over sprockets and tensioners, controls chain path geometry, minimises vibration/noise and extends chain & sprocket life.
Over time, guide rails degrade through wear, cracking, distortion or mis-alignment. If any single guide rail is worn or old, you risk chain vibration or changing chain geometry - potentially causing chain noise, accelerated wear of sprockets, timing drift or even catastrophic failure. By replacing all six guide rails (1 brown + 5 black) as a coordinated set, you ensure:
