Diagram ref no. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 15
This kit includes:
2 × OE Match Brake Support Mounting Plate - OE Ref: 91135208130
2 × OE Match Rear Brake Disc Cover Plate - OE Ref: 91135280120
4 × Genuine Porsche Hex Head Bolt (M8 × 16) - OE Ref: 90007508704
4 × Genuine Porsche Washer - OE Ref: N0122418
4 × Genuine Porsche Hexagon Nut - OE Ref: 9000760250C
Together, these components:
• Provide a rigid and correctly aligned mounting base for the rear brake calipers
• Protect brake discs and surrounding components from debris, dirt, and road contamination
• Ensure accurate caliper positioning relative to the brake disc
• Restore factory-correct hardware and fastening integrity
• Support consistent braking performance and even pad wear
This kit is ideal for brake overhauls, restorations, or when replacing corroded or damaged original mounting hardware.
Function:
• Brake support mounting plates: Anchor and align the rear brake calipers
• Disc cover plates: Shield brake discs and hubs from debris and moisture
• Genuine bolts, washers & nuts: Ensure proper torque, clamping force, and long-term fastening security
• System integrity: Maintains correct brake geometry and mechanical stability
Over time, rear brake mounting plates and disc covers are prone to corrosion, deformation, and fatigue, especially on classic vehicles. Worn or damaged hardware can lead to:
• Misaligned brake calipers
• Uneven brake pad wear
• Increased brake noise or vibration
• Reduced braking consistency
Replacing these components as a matched kit ensures the rear brake system is securely mounted, properly protected, and restored to original operating standards.
When to replace. Replace or install this kit when:
• Performing a rear brake overhaul or restoration
• Original mounting plates or disc covers are rusted or damaged
• Fasteners are corroded, stretched, or missing
• Brake alignment or caliper stability issues are present
• Refreshing suspension and brake hardware together
