Alternator pulley half.
Pulley half specifications: 8 holes / Diameter - 96 mm
Replacement pulley half designed for the front engine V-belt drive system of early Porsche 911/912 and Porsche 914 models. This pulley sits on the generator/fan hub, providing one half of the V-belt sheave assembly that drives the alternator/fan unit via the ribbed or flat belt. Manufactured to match Porsche’s original spec.

• Position on Vehicle: Fan/generator drive assembly – pulley half mounted on alternator/fan hub, forming part of the V-belt drive.
• Function: Provides the correct sheave geometry for the V-belt that drives the alternator/generator and cooling fan; ensures proper belt tension, belt contact interface and belt stability under engine load.
• Applications: Ideal when the original pulley half shows signs of corrosion, rust, flange damage, belt mis-tracking, belt wear or vibration due to pulley run-out.
While seemingly small, the alternator/fan drive pulley plays a vital role in engine accessory drive functionality. A worn, corroded or mis-aligned pulley can lead to:
• Belt slippage or chatter under load
• Excessive belt wear or fraying
• Vibration, noise or resonance in the belt drive
