Diagram Ref No 12
What This Product Does:
- Transfers refrigerant between the condenser and receiver drier
- Maintains correct system pressure for efficient cooling
- Supports moisture removal via the drier component
- Ensures consistent A/C system performance
- Prevents refrigerant loss when functioning correctly
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Reduced or no air-conditioning performance
- Refrigerant leaks (often visible as oily residue on the line or joints)
- Hissing sounds from escaping refrigerant
- Moisture contamination in the system, leading to poor cooling efficiency
- Irregular compressor operation or failure to engage
Why Replacement Matters:
- Restores proper refrigerant flow and cooling performance
- Prevents moisture contamination that can damage internal components
- Protects the compressor and condenser from excessive strain
- Ensures correct system pressure and operation
- Maintains cabin comfort, especially in warm weather conditions
