As Porsche's water-cooled models continue to mature, maintaining an efficient cooling system becomes increasingly important. Blocked, corroded or ageing condensers reduce air conditioning efficiency while also restricting airflow to the engine cooling radiators positioned behind them. CSF has engineered this condenser as a direct replacement that not only restores A/C performance but also improves overall cooling system efficiency.
The CSF Performance Condenser is the perfect complement to the award-winning CSF 997/987 Side Radiators (CSF #7047, #7048, #7055 and #7056), creating a complete OEM+ cooling solution for both road and track-driven Porsche models.
Advanced CSF Cooling Technology
With decades of experience manufacturing high-performance cooling systems for OEM manufacturers, motorsport and aftermarket applications, CSF has developed a condenser that significantly improves upon the original Porsche design.
Unlike many replacement condensers, the CSF unit incorporates a Dual-Pass Cross-Flow Parallel Condenser Core with advanced microtube technology to maximise cooling efficiency while maintaining factory fitment.
The result is:
- Faster cabin cooling.
- Improved refrigerant efficiency.
- Better airflow to the engine radiators.
- Improved engine cooling under demanding conditions.
- Enhanced long-term durability.
- Direct OE replacement installation.
Superior Performance Over the Original Condenser
The factory Porsche condenser uses a conventional parallel-flow design. CSF improves upon this by incorporating a 16mm high-pressure 10-channel microtube core, providing increased refrigerant flow and significantly greater surface area for heat transfer.
This advanced core is combined with 26 rows of cooling tubes and 27 rows of 8mm multi-louvered cooling fins, allowing the condenser to dissipate heat more effectively while simultaneously increasing airflow to the cooling radiators behind it.
Compared with a brand-new factory condenser, the CSF unit delivers approximately 5% greater cooling performance, while offering a substantially larger improvement over older condensers suffering from corrosion, blocked fins or accumulated road debris.
Why Upgrade to the CSF OEM+ Condenser?
Whether your Porsche is a daily driver, weekend sports car or dedicated track machine, upgrading the condenser provides several important benefits.
Improved Air Conditioning Performance
The advanced microtube core transfers heat more efficiently, allowing the air conditioning system to cool the cabin faster and operate more effectively in high ambient temperatures.
Better Engine Cooling
The optimised fin design allows more air to reach the radiators mounted behind the condenser, improving coolant temperatures during spirited driving, track use and hot weather.
Increased Durability
Constructed entirely from aluminium using modern manufacturing techniques, the CSF condenser offers excellent resistance to corrosion, vibration and long-term fatigue.
Outstanding Value
The CSF Performance Condenser delivers improved cooling performance while often costing significantly less than purchasing a new Genuine Porsche condenser.

As Porsche models age, the front-mounted air conditioning condensers become highly susceptible to corrosion, stone damage and blockage from leaves and road debris. Positioned behind the front bumper air intakes, they are continually exposed to the elements, making them one of the most common causes of poor air conditioning performance and refrigerant leaks.
This kit combines two premium CSF OEM+ Performance Air Conditioning Condensers (CSF #8394) with a new receiver drier and all required sealing O-rings, allowing you to completely refresh the air conditioning system in a single installation.
Kit Contents
- 2 x CSF OEM+ Performance Air Conditioning Condensers
- 1 x Air Conditioning Receiver Drier (Desiccator)
- 4 x Radiator/Condenser Rubber O-Rings
- 2 x Receiver Drier Rubber O-Rings
Everything required to carry out a complete condenser replacement is supplied within the kit.
Why Replace Both Condensers Together?
The Porsche 996 and 997 platform uses twin front-mounted condensers. If one condenser has deteriorated through corrosion or stone damage, the opposite side is typically in a similar condition.
Replacing both condensers simultaneously offers several
advantages:
- Restores maximum A/C cooling performance.
- Prevents future refrigerant leaks.
- Ensures balanced system efficiency.
- Reduces labour costs by completing both sides at once.
- Extends the life of the air conditioning compressor.
- Improves long-term reliability.
Replacing the receiver drier at the same time is strongly recommended whenever the A/C system is opened.
Why Replace the Receiver Drier?
The receiver drier (desiccator) removes moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant circuit.
Over time it becomes saturated, reducing its ability to protect the air conditioning system.
Replacing the drier helps:
- Remove moisture from the refrigerant.
- Protect the compressor.
- Prevent internal corrosion.
- Improve refrigerant circulation.
- Maximise cooling performance.
- Extend the life of the complete A/C system.
Why Choose CSF Performance Condensers?
CSF has become one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-performance cooling components and is trusted by Porsche enthusiasts and professional workshops worldwide.
The CSF condensers utilise advanced cooling technology
including:
- OEM+ Dual-Pass Parallel Flow Core.
Increased refrigerant flow.
- Larger heat transfer surface area.
- Multi-louvered cooling fins for improved efficiency.

As the Porsche 996 turbo, GT2, C4S and 997 turbo models continue to age, corrosion, blocked cooling fins and road debris can significantly reduce the efficiency of both the engine cooling system and the air conditioning condensers. Replacing these components together restores cooling performance throughout the vehicle while reducing future labour costs and helping prevent overheating or air conditioning failures.
This complete upgrade package is ideal for road cars, fast-road builds, track day vehicles and full restorations.
Kit Contents
This complete cooling package includes:
- 2 x CSF OEM+ Performance Air Conditioning Condensers
- 1 x CSF Aluminium Left Water Coolant Radiator
- 1 x CSF Aluminium Right Water Coolant Radiator
Together these components provide a complete front-end cooling system upgrade using premium CSF Performance products.
Why Replace the Cooling System Together?
The front-mounted radiators and air conditioning condensers
are constantly exposed to:
- Road debris.
- Stone impacts.
- Moisture.
- Corrosion.
- Leaves and dirt blocking airflow.
Even when they appear externally clean, internal corrosion and blocked cooling passages can significantly reduce cooling efficiency.
Replacing all four units together provides:
- Maximum engine cooling performance.
- Improved air conditioning efficiency.
- Better airflow through the front cooling pack.
- Reduced coolant temperatures.
- Improved refrigerant heat dissipation.
- Increased long-term reliability.
- Lower overall installation costs compared with replacing components individually.
