This OE Match air conditioning compressor is a direct replacement for the original Porsche A/C compressor fitted to selected Porsche 964 Carrera models from 1993–1994, along with all Porsche 993 models from 1994–1998. It forms the core component of the air conditioning system, compressing and circulating refrigerant to provide effective cabin cooling and climate control.

Installed at the engine-driven accessory belt system, the compressor is responsible for pressurising and circulating refrigerant throughout the vehicle’s air conditioning circuit. As the refrigerant cycles through the condenser, evaporator, and receiver-drier system, the compressor enables heat removal from the cabin and maintains cold air output through the ventilation system. This OE Match unit is supplied as a complete compressor assembly with integrated magnetic clutch and pulley assembly. Electric Air Conditioning for Porsche 964 and 993 (two condensers)
The Electrocooler electric air conditioning system for Porsche 964/993 is an update to the original factory A/C system using an electric compressor pump.
• Fits vehicles with or without factory AC
The 964/993 blower unit and fans are retained but everything else is replaced.
Kit is supplied with or without High Performance Evaporators, all other parts are provided. If factory evaporator is required please use 96457390100
