Electronic individual throttle body kit by Adapt Motorsport for classic Porsche 911 engines. This drive-by-wire system uses separate throttle bodies for all six cylinders, with independent electronic control for the left and right cylinder banks.

What This Product Does
The eITB kit electronically controls airflow to each cylinder without conventional throttle cables or linkages between the pedal, cylinder banks and individual throttles. Its two direct-drive motors incorporate throttle-position sensing, allowing a suitable aftermarket ECU to manage idle opening, pedal sensitivity and bank-specific throttle operation.
Functions
- Controls six individual throttle bodies through two independent drive-by-wire motors
- Allows throttle sensitivity and pedal response to be calibrated within the ECU
- Uses the electronic throttles to regulate idle airflow without a separate idle-control valve
- Provides individual air-bypass adjustment for cylinder balancing
- Supplies vacuum connections for balancing equipment, brake servos and other vacuum-operated devices
- Supports compatible ECU strategies such as torque management, launch control and automatic throttle blipping
Technical Details
- Base kit includes six pre-assembled individual throttle bodies, two DBW motors with integrated sensors, six intake adapters, two fuel rails and two throttle-driver connector kits
- Internal throttle-position sensors use dual-channel redundancy, with independent motors and sensing for each cylinder bank
- Fuel rails are designed for short EV14 fuel injectors
- Construction includes stiff throttle couplings, sealed roller bearings and thermal-barrier spacers between the throttle assemblies and cylinder heads
- Selectable 2-bolt and 3-bolt configurations are offered with multiple port and butterfly diameters; intake-manifold and tapered velocity-stack adapter options are available
- Compatible control systems must operate two independent throttle motors and provide six analogue sensor inputs plus two complete four-pin half-bridge driver outputs
Why Replacement Matters
This kit is intended for EFI conversions and modified classic Porsche engines requiring electronically managed individual throttles. Removing mechanical cables and cross-bank linkages eliminates their adjustment, backlash and friction points while giving the calibrator direct control over throttle opening. Installation, balancing and mapping should be completed by a specialist familiar with dual-DBW ITB systems. Adapt Motorsport identifies MoTeC M150, Emtron KV8 and ECUmaster Pro 8 as suitable examples, although ECU compatibility must be confirmed for each installation. Fail-safe DBW functions, engine limp modes and dual wideband oxygen sensors for closed-loop tuning of both banks are required or recommended as applicable.
